Matthews & Spears Funeral Home offers distinctive, personal, and affordable services designed to help you honor your loved one in a way that is unique to them and meaningful to you.

FUNERAL SERVICES MUST BE PAID “IN FULL”

72 HOURS IN ADVANCE

We Accept:

1. Cash, Cashier’s Check or Money Order
2. Credit Cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover)
3. Personal checks are accepted under these conditions:

• Checks received two business days before first viewing of remains.
• Out-of-state checks are not accepted.

1. Insurance policies are accepted as a courtesy under the following conditions:

• Policy is at least two years old.
• Policy is received at least two days before the first viewing of remains.
• A 5% charge of insurance processing will be added to the total of the final bill, when using insurance to cover the cost of the funeral.
• A 3% charge will be added to the total charge for the final bill when using credit cards to cover the cost of the funeral.

Please note: We would like to offer you, by way of third party assignment, receipt of
your insurance claim monies within a 7 to 14 day period. Restrictions do apply. If
interested, ask one of our staff associates. Also, there is a 12% service charge for cash
advancements on cemetery fees submitted by the funeral home.
